Francesco Lami, MD, born in Milan in 1960, graduated with full honours in Medicine and Surgery at the State University of Milan. In 1987 he joined the international pharma business and has since then been working in Italian companies with increasing responsibilities and areas of management. In his career, during the past 29 years, he worked for Recordati International and Italfarmaco SpA in a number of different functions and responsibilities at Executive level both at the Headquarters and in affiliate companies where he has been Member of the Board.

In 1996 he has been a co-founder of Nicox SA.

Francesco has a deep and recognized knowledge in the fields of BD&L, M&A and Marketing in the European and as well as in the African, Asiatic and ME markets and has a wide network of relationships in the USA and in Japan.
